Community Conversation on Poverty in Shaker Heights

Come together with other community members and representatives of local organizations to discuss the challenges of poverty in Shaker Heights. Our deconstructed panel format creates an opportunity for us to hear from those with expertise while also contributing our own ideas about how to meet this challenge. The discussion will be facilitated by Shaker Library Director Amy Switzer.  This discussion is part of the One Community Reads programming on Andrea Elliott’s book, Invisible Child: Poverty, Survival, and Hope in an American City.
