Author Talk: Lola and the Troll with Connie Schultz

Join us for an afternoon with Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and New York Times bestselling author Connie Schultz as she reads from her debut picture book, Lola and the Troll, with illustrations by Sandy Rodriguez.
Lola is a happy kid living in an urban neighborhood (much like Shaker Heights). There's just one problem: the neighborhood bully, who says mean things to everyone who walks by, including Lola.
But when Lola's mom takes her to her favorite place, the bookstore (much like the Joseph-Beth Bookstore formerly in Shaker Square), the owner Mrs. Sneesby reminds Lola that she is brave.
Lola and the Troll was written specifically for children ages 4 - 8, but everyone is welcome to enjoy this event and hear the story.
