"The Heights Before the Van Sweringens" -- A Shaker Author Talk with Lauren R. Pacini
Shaker Library and the Western Reserve Architectural Historians are pleased to cohost Shaker Author Lauren R. Pacini, who will talk about the influences and early work of the Van Sweringen brothers, who later went on to develop Shaker Heights. Pacini is an architectural photographer and author of many books on Cleveland history.
On June 6, Shaker Library and the Shaker Historical Society are cosponsoring the launch of Pacini's forthcoming book Empire Builders: An Illustrated History of the Rise and Fall of Cleveland's Van Sweringen Brothers.
