Moreland Elementary Celebration

Join us at Shaker Main Library for the dedication of the Moreland Elementary cornerstone and plaque. 

Attendees can view photos from the years the school was open, hear from previous students and former principal Delores Groves (1980 - 1987), enjoy refreshments, and listen to music from Sam Hooper. 

You’re invited to contribute to our Moreland memory board! Bring a written memory, a copy of a photo, or another flat object to include.

We will dedicate the plaque and cornerstone at the front of the building a little after 2 p.m., with speakers and music to follow. Celebrate our community's past and future as we recognize the legacy of this beloved landmark.

RSVP is requested, not required, as we take a head count for refreshments. Thank you!
