Shaker Author Paul Landis and the JFK Assassination
In his new book, The Final Witness, Secret Service Agent Paul Landis breaks his 60-year silence.
Landis served U.S. Presidents from 1959 to 1964, working the Kennedy "Kiddie Detail" and guarding First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy.
On duty in Dallas on November 22, 1963, Landis witnessed President Kennedy’s assassination. He was never called to testify before the Warren Commission, and as the nightmares from Dallas continued, Landis resigned. Not until the fiftieth anniversary did he begin to process what he saw and did on that fateful day.
