Book Buzz: North Woods

A young and rebellious Puritan couple flee their Massachusetts village to live in the woods, where they build themselves a cabin. This is the setting for Daniel Mason's centuries-spanning and genre-blurring novel, as human and non-human characters make their way to the New England house: an English soldier, spinster twins, a panther, a beetle, and a crime reporter who unearths a mass grave, among many others. North Woods is about the many ways we remain connected to our environments, and serves as a reminder that the past is always alive.

Copies of the book will be available at Main Library one month before the discussion.
