Poetry Jam with Panel Discussion

Presented by Moreland Community Theatre and directed by Monica Boone, this program pairs Shaker MyCom students with professional adult poets & community performers to share their experiences and talents as they tackle socially relevant topics through the theme of "Black Experience: Our Community, Our Selves." 

Saturday's performance will offer an opportunity for the audience to share their own poetry during an Open Mic session. Sunday's performance will include a Q&A panel discussion with the performers.
