Book Buzz: A God in Ruins by Kate Atkinson
Author Kate Atkinson, calls this a companion piece to her last book, Life after Life. It follows the life of Teddy Todd, a bomber pilot and POW in the second world war. But post war he is a family man, trying to figure his life in the post war world. The constant back and forth in the timeline lets Atkinson reveal her characters in glimpses, thus keeping the suspense alive.
Copies of the book will be available at Main Library one month before the discussion.
