Cook the Book: Bite by Bite

Join us to share a recipe/food that sparks fond family memories. Did your granny always prepare a certain dish for your birthday? Do you still use your uncle’s recipe for barbeque ribs?   
Participants are encouraged to bring a sample of the memorable dish to share with the group.  

This month we will be inspired by this spring’s NEA Big Read, Bite by Bite: Nourishments and Jamborees by Aimee Nezhukumatathil. While not a cookbook, cooks and eaters alike will find inspiration to talk/write about food and remember the love and joy that comes with food. Copies of the book will be available for checkout at the Main Library 4 weeks before the program. 

Registration is required.
