Teen Domestic Violence Awareness Program
IMAGINE/Danielle Boone Institute Against Teen Domestic Violence will present a program that includes a 25-minute theatrical performance focused on raising awareness of teen domestic violence. This presentation, directed by Monica Boone, will include student poets performing their original work.
After the performances, representatives from the Shaker Heights Police Department, Journey Center for Safety and Healing, the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, the Beyond Abuse Project, SAY Collaborative, and Rivers in the Desert will lead small-group breakout workshop sessions. Counselors will be available to support attendees who need guidance or comfort.
