Widowhood 101: Next Steps
The American way of death and dying has changed within the last couple of years, especially for surviving spouses of long marriages. Berenice Kleiman, a local author and Shaker resident, found herself in April 2020 dealing with spousal loss and immediately discovering that her income sources had frozen, including bank accounts. Learn her advice on preparing in advance to avoid such issues - both men and women, parents as well as children of aging parents, will benefit from this discussion. Copies of her book, "Widowhood 101: Next Steps" will be available for purchase with proceeds benefitting Shaker Heights Public Library and the Cleveland Food Bank. Space is limited and registration is required.
