Join local author Dr. Vilma Seeberg to hear about her recently published book "Family Engagement in Black Students' Academic Success: Achievement and Resistance in an American Suburban School." Dr. Seeberg will be joined by Mr. Reuben Harris, Jr., a long-time activist and Shaker School Board member. Hear the powerful stories told by Black famiies and students who have achieved academic success in the Shaker Schools despite the barriers they experienced.
