Graphic Novel Book Club: Cardboard Kingdom

Are you a graphic novel fan? Join us this summer! We read graphic novels and then meet for a fun discussion and chance to do an activity or craft based on the titles. This book club is for readers entering grades 3-6.  Please read the books beforehand and prepare for fun discussions!

In June, we are discussing "Cardboard Kingdom" by Chad Sell. Perfect for fans of Raina Telgemeier, Awkward, and All's Faire in Middle School, this graphic novel follows a neighborhood of kids who transform ordinary cardboard into fantastical homemade costumes as they explore conflicts with friends, family, and their own identity.

Copies of the book are available online, or at the Children's Information desk one month before the discussion. Registration required.
